Automatic Authentication

This is the simplest method to authenticate yourself for logon to one of your websites that has registered with Pintegrity Authentication Web Services (PAWS). Assuming you have downloaded and installed a Launch Code application from Pintegrity Systems, all that is needed is an internet connection. Follow these easy steps.
  1. Create a Launch Code with a client app from Pintegrity Systems
  2. Browse to the logon page for the website
  3. Enter your username to logon
  4. The domain will retrieve the Launch Code and you will be logged on automatically.
  5. The access credentials to the website are assigned automatically.

Manual Authentication

This is the traditional Challenge/Response method to authenticate yourself for logon to one of your websites that has registered with Pintegrity Authentication Web Services (PAWS). If you have downloaded, installed and registered a Launch Code application from Pintegrity Systems, you are all set. An internet connection is not required for the Launch code app. Follow these easy steps.
  1. Browse to the logon page for the website
  2. Enter your username to logon
  3. Select one of your Launch Code apps
  4. A random Challenge number will be displayed
  5. Enter the random Challenge number into the Launch Code app to generate the matching Response number
  6. Enter the Response number into the logon page
  7. The domain will validate the Challenge/Response Codes and you will be logged on automatically.
  8. The access credentials to the website are assigned automatically.
